Kane was unsure what the odds were of this sort of pairing happening in nature. He said that \"if there was an area where the ax head was left on the ground and it got covered up by the soil it is perfectly reasonable that a root would have found its way to the handle.\"

The report states that during the incident, Fox shattered the rear window of the woman's vehicle with a metal flower bowl. He also allegedly shattered the side window with the axe handle, as well as cracked the windshield with a glass vase.
\"I didn't win the election,\" he said, \"but I did get thrown in the St. Augustine jail.\" Kennedy was there on Ax Handle Saturday on Aug. 27, 1960, when an angry mob wielding ax handles and baseball bats attacked students, including Hurst, who were staging sit-ins at Grants and Woolworths in downtown Jacksonville.
Timothy Randy Sarratt, 45, of 473 Pleasant School Road died after he was struck by Jamie B. Davis, 35, of Greer. Sarratt hit Davis on the head with a pipe. \"Initially, it looks like self-defense,\" Lt. Ron Gahagan with the sheriff's office said. The fight occurred about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 224 Victor Ave. Ext., Greer, where Davis lived with Sarratt's ex-wife. Sarratt was covered in blood and lying on the ground when emergency crews arrived just after 4:30 p.m. Someone had called 911 to report a fight in progress. An autopsy will be done today to determine how many times Sarratt was hit and the cause of death, said Investigator J. Dwayne Corn with the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office. Gahagan said investigators know the fight occurred after Sarratt went to the house to confront the couple. Sarratt apparently got out of his car and attacked Davis. \"He hit Davis with a lead pipe, and Davis was able to get an ax handle and killed Sarratt with it,\" Gahagan said. Investigators still were interviewing witnesses late Saturday. \"We need to know from them what happened, and we need the result from the autopsy,\" Gahagan said. The name of Sarratt's ex-wife was not released by authorities, who were unable to interview her on the scene because she was too upset. They were also not sure of her relationship to Davis, who had to be taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for treatment of an injured jaw. 59ce067264
